Adventure in St. George with grand-kids. April 8th

April 8th--
Wednesday morning Jordan and I took off to go to St. George.  I was looking forward to seeing my grand-kids and spending time with them.  Jordan was coming to St. George to work with Brandon.  It was going to be a great day.  We got down to St. George around noon the first day and we went over to Becca's and then I dropped Jordan off to work with Brandon.  Later we all joined up together to go to dinner and then we went and played arcade games at Fiesta Family Center in St. George.  It was a wonderful day and we had a blast.  Here are some pictures from our day:

This is the dress I bought Kylie.

Out to dinner at a sandwich place called Capriotti's and then to Fiesta family fun center in St. George afterwards to play.

Spring Break has officially begun! Salt Lake Day Trip--April 7th

Today I officially started Spring Break.  I took a trip today with my parents and Alyce and Rachel Naylor to Salt Lake City on the front runner.  We went to a Discovery museum and then to lunch and then to see the flowers at the temple.  It was a very windy day.  Dallan met us at the City Creek Mall and visited with us for a moment and had a Oreo Mcflurry before he headed back to school.  The day was so sweet getting to spend time with my parents and nieces.  The flowers at Temple Square were amazing.  Picture from our day:

Gary's Birthday, General Conference and Easter Celebration!

Wow what a wonderful weekend this has been. Friday night I took Gary out for his birthday it was one day early due to conference being on his official birthday.   On my birthday he did not let me plan anything so on his birthday I decided it was only fair that I plan the date.  I took him to his favorite Thai restaurant Aiyara.  Then we went and traded in my broken camera at Best buy because luckily I had a warranty and so I got a free replacement.  Then I took him to the new theater on Geneva road.  He could not figure out where I was taking him.  It was fun to have him try to guess.  We went to the movie Insurgent. It was a high action movie.  We both enjoyed this show.  Below is the gifts I gave Gary for his birthday.

Saturday on his official birthday he worked hard to finish making my square garden boxes while he listened to conference.  We loved listening to General Conference it was a treat.

Sunday we woke up to have Kendra and Koda come for breakfast before conference.  We made our German pancakes or as we call them hoof & Anny pancakes.  Then we enjoyed General Conference.
Later we had an Easter lunch of barbecue chicken, potato salad and strawberry shortcake for dessert.  I took a few cute pictures of Kendra and Koda at our house.

Later we went and visited Grandparents on both sides of the family.  We went to see Grand-dad and then we went to my parents house.   The grown up kids all played tag together and had a blast.  We are at the stage of life that several of our grown children now have dates.   A lot of Janice's kids are dating now and looking for future mates.  I also took some fun pictures of the kids all playing.

Sunday dinner and meeting Kendra's friend Koda.

Chantel and Mckay are on Chantel's spring break so they have been spending a couple of days in Salt Lake and they came over on Sunday to visit.  Kendra also came over and brought her new boyfriend Koda.  This was the second time that Gary and I got to meet him.  Koda is very nice and he makes a great first impression.    Kendra seems to really like him.  I don't have too many pictures but I found one on instagram from when they went to  color festival.

Kendra and Koda took a funny picture of them for an April Fools joke for Koda's friend.  They were pretending they are engaged.  She sent it to me to freak me out.  She had a pretend engagement ring on.   Her comment was Guess what Mom?  It was funny but I figured it out that it was an April Fools joke because they really have not been dating that long.

We ended up playing games together that night as a group.  Chantel, Mckay, Dallan, Evan, Kendra, Koda, Jordan and me.  It was fun to interact and spend time together.
