Prom, Marothon runner and kids traveling here and there....

Well what a week this has been!
1st---Dallan left to Kansas Friday night to go to work for the summer.  He drove most of the night and all day Saturday.  Saturday evening he called and let us know that they had blown a gasket in the car.  Evan's parents had triple AAA so they were towed  to a hotel that night and then Sunday they were towed into Kansas to their new apartment for the summer.   I hope things go great for him this Summer.  I am already missing him. 

2nd--Kendra drove to St. George to run in a half marathon on Friday.  Kendra is such a determined person and whatever she sets her mind to do she has always just worked hard and done it.  She ran the half marathon in 2 hours and 6 minutes.  Wow I was so impressed.  I can't even imagine running for two hours straight.  She is my hero!

  Jordan went on his first date to Prom.  They had a great time!  They went on a scavenger hunt to IKEA for the day date and then they went and got dressed up for Prom.  The boys took their dates to Tuscani and then to the capital for the Prom.  Here are the only two pictures I have from his Prom. 

The Week of Car repairs and saying goodbye to Dallan for the summer....

Well this week has been a long hard week for Gary and Dallan as they took out the motor of his car to do some major work on the engine.  Most night this week they were both up until 2:00 to 3:00 a.m. in the morning.  Here are some pictures of the car work.  Long Week....

We went out to dinner on Thursday night at Pizza Pie Cafe to say goodbye to Dallan before he leaves to work in Kansas for the summer.  I am sure going to miss my boy.  Hope all goes well for him. 

Remembering Tommye Knudsen

Today we took a moment and went to Granny's grave site.  Dallan and Kendra were on their missions and this was their first time going to the grave site.  We took a few minutes to remember our sweet Granny today.

Target shooting as a family--Spring Break--April 11th

Well today was the last day of our official Spring Break Activities.  We had planned to go target shooting as a family.  Chantel and Mckay were not able to join us.  Koda also came with our family.  I took a lot of pictures.  It was fun to set up targets and then try to aim to shoot them.  Dallan also did a funny video with Evan.  Here are the pictures I took:

 

 

After shooting we all went to eat at Tuchanos.  Everyone enjoyed themselves.  It was a great day.

Adventure in St. George with Grand-kids- April 10th

April 10th--Last day to spend with grandkids before Jordan and I need to head back to our home.  We only got to stay a couple of hours to say our goodbyes:

Adventure in St. George with Grand-kids--April 9th

April 9th--
Today we woke up early and I dropped Jordan off with Brandon to work all day.  Then I went to Becca's to play with the Grand-kids.  We had a great time. Later we went to the park and then shopping at Costco and then we came back and made dinner and then Becca left to go to a class and I tended the kids while Brandon worked on his car with Jordan.  The kids are growing up so much and they are a blast.  I gave them baths and then we read stories.  One thing I love is these kids actually love to read books.  They are also growing up so fast.  I was so impressed watching the things they do and how they have grown.  They are already so smart with technology. 

Off to the park to play.
