Welcome Home Dallan Knudsen!!!

Tuesday December 16th we got ready to go and pick Dallan up from the airport.  His friend Evan came over early and we left to the airport.  We started noticing more and more families arriving at the airport.  It was a crazy missionary day.  So many missionaries coming home all at once.  30 missionaries coming off the plane and each missionary had a group of people to see them come home.   Finally the time arrived and the missionaries started coming down the escalator and soon we saw Dallan.  We were all so excited.  Here are some pictures taken at the airport:

After Dallan arrived we went to the church office building to get Dallan released.  Our Stake President works at the church office building.  We went to see President Bangerter and we had a nice releasing and he had Dallan bear his testimony and then a small group of us went to lunch at Kneaders.

We met a family from Chantel's mission
When we drove home we had some balloons, yellow ribbons and a sign hanging for Dallan.  Then Dallan got to see a surprise car in the garage that used to be the Robbins car.  Dallan was so happy.  We only gave Dallan about 30 minutes to come home and unpack and then pack right back up to head to California to see his mission.  We did not give him a lot of time to enjoy being home and we were on the road again.  We headed to St. George to stay at a hotel the first night and see Brandon and Becca and start the beginning of our mission trip and vacation.
