California here we come!

Wednesday morning we woke up early and went over to see my cute grandkids before we headed to go to California.  It was such a beautiful day.  Kylie and Hayden were so happy to see everyone and they entertained everyone.

Then we were on the road to California.  On the way we enjoyed hearing stories about Dallan's mission and we played 20 questions which was really pretty fun.  We made it to California pretty early and we went to Knott's Berry Farm for the rest of the day.  It was not crowded at all and the kids walked on to about every roller coaster just as fast as they could.  They finished the entire park in under 3 hours.  Gary and I and my parents took it a little easier and looked at shops, rode on mild rides and went to a little theater to a play called Gift of the Magi.  It was fun for everyone and that evening we ate a wonderful dinner that my parents treated at the Knott's Berry Farm Chicken Restaurant.  Delicious!

When my parents got married years ago they came to California on their honeymoon and took a picture with these same statues so we decided to take another one after all these years. Gary and I joined in the fun!
